Our programming includes these elements:
Produce to the People™
Our weekly mobile markets provide fresh produce and other healthy staples to individuals and families in Buncombe and McDowell Counties. Our refrigerated market truck meets our participants close to their communities delivering healthy food and eliminating transportation barriers.

Rooted in Health™
We strongly believe that education is the key to a healthy community. Through health and wellness lessons, cooking demonstrations, yoga classes and a variety of resources, participants are building a personal toolkit to help sustain a healthy lifestyle.

UGrow™
In partnership with Eat Smart Black Mountain, this program teaches participants to grow food. Participants receive dirt, containers and organic starts, and monthly garden education.

Latinx Engagement Program
Working together with Latinx participants to create community and services which promote sustainability. Resources include healthy food access, health and wellness and English language classes, Zumba and child care while celebrating the rich culture of the community.

Backpack Program
Community partnership providing healthy food to children over the weekend.
