Education for Resilience: Helping 2,000 War-Affected Ukrainian Children Catch Up and Thrive
por CHILDREN OF HEROES OF UKRAINE FOUNDATIONGoal 2025: $711,600 to support 2,000 children
Cost per child/month: $12–$40
Focus areas: tutoring, English, IT/coding
Why it matters?
The war in Ukraine has left millions of children without stable schooling. For those who lost one or both parents, education is not just about grades — it’s about structure, safety, and hope. Without support, many risk dropping out completely.
Our solution
The Children of Heroes Foundation created a long-term program to keep kids learning and prepare them for the future. In 2025 we will reach 2,000 children with:
- Tutoring & exam prep – core school subjects, online lessons with trauma-informed teachers.
Cost: $12–15/month.
- English program – 9-month course plus conversation clubs with native speakers.
Cost: $20/month.
- IT & coding – Python, Scratch, web development, robotics.
Cost: $390 per course.
Children can join one or more tracks depending on their needs.
What makes it unique:
- 100% online — accessible even in frontline or occupied areas
- Trauma-informed teachers with psychological support built in
- Focused on both academic recovery and emotional resilience
Impact of your support:
Education restores confidence, motivation, daily routine, and connection with peers. It also opens real opportunities for the future.
