A Christmas miracle for a Ukrainian child

For a child, a Christmas miracle might be a long-awaited toy, a book or a football.
But sometimes, a miracle is much simpler: a warm pair of shoes, light during a power outage, or a warm home on a freezing winter night.
Children of Heroes supports more than 17 500 children across Ukraine who have lost one or both parents because of the war. This winter, we are bringing together two initiatives Warmth for Children and Christmas Miracle — to give children both what they need and something they dream about.
We aim to provide more than 4000 children with warm clothing and winter shoes, while helping the most vulnerable families with generators, power stations, power banks, rechargeable lights and firewood.
And because children should still have the chance to simply be children, we are also fulfilling their Christmas wishes.
Even $25 can turn one child’s Christmas wish into a gift.
A donation can mean warmth. It can mean light. Or it can mean opening a present a child has been dreaming about.
We cannot give these children back what the war has taken from them. But together we can help ensure it does not take away their childhood too.
