Donerad av 9.923,79 PLNLet’s get ready to receive Haruo Matsuoka, who will come to Warsaw in May 2024. We are helping organize the event by opening volunteer opportunities and creating educational opportunities for those who can’t afford the Aikido classes.
Starting in early 2024, the Hikari Foundation plans to launch the AIKIDO FOR GOOD project. Innovative and unprecedented, it will be a breakthrough in opening up activities for people affected by hearing loss. The Foundation aims to introduce Aikido to environments that can benefit from its multi-layered communication. Aikido is a Japanese martial art that requires body coordination, impacting various human senses, and carries a significant cultural value derived from its Japanese origin. We believe that combining these unique databases while working with deaf people will be physically engaging and for humanistic reasons.

We plan to create a group of at least 40 people throughout the capital city and help them develop on the Aikido path. For this project, we involve Polska Fundacja Pomocy Dzieciom Niedosłyszącym –ECHO– (https://fundacja-echo.pl/). Polish Foundation for Assistance to Deaf Children., through which this initiative will be promoted and advertised. We have enlisted the support of a sign language interpreter who will assist in the sessions when needed.
